I wrote this article mimiking the style of research that monolingual researchers often use to describe bilingual and multilingual speakers. No, I am not stereotyping with a broad brush. Therefore, I wrote tendencies.
- Monolinguals cannot understand that “correcting” someone else’s language requires verbal consent.
